Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress as well as a comedian and writer. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of awards, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada and in 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara was first recognized for her acting in the year 1974 as a member of The Second City in Toronto. With John Candy and Dan Aykroyd as co-stars, she was in the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara was a part of Candy in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). She won critical acclaim both for her writing and acting skills and was honored with a Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. O'Hara was a member of the new Second City artistic Advisory Board, which was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
