Hannah Waddingham

Hannah Waddingham, born 28 July 1974 (citation required)) is an British actor and singer from the UK. She is most famous for her role in Ted Lasso's West End productions and as an actress in the musical, The Wizard of Oz. Her best-known role is her roles in Spamalot's West End revival, the Regent's Park revival of Into the Woods, as well as The Wizard of Oz (as the Wicked Witch of the West). She has received three Olivier Award nominations for her performance. In 2015, she was a part of Game of Thrones' fifth series as Septa Unella. In addition she played the lead character in the role of Septa Unella in the 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables. Waddingham has been nominated in the Golden Globe Awards. Since 2020, she has been the role as Rebecca Welton in the Apple TV+ comedy show Ted Lasso in which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Comedy Series and the Critics Choice Television Award for the Best Supporting Actress in the category of Comedy Series in 2021 and 2022
